FARMINGTON — A New Sharon man is accused of subjecting two minors to unwanted sexual contact.

Christopher Hills-Pettitt, 40, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of unlawful sexual contact, Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said.

His office received information Feb. 19 and Lt. David St. Laurent conducted an investigation, Nichols said Thursday.

Hills-Pettitt is being held without bail at the Franklin County Detention Center in Farmington. He is expected to go before a judge Friday to have bail set.

A conviction on the charge is punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
