Cribbage play results

LEWISTON — Cribbage results for the Lewiston Senior Cribbage League for the week of March 5 are: First, Cecilia Treworgy and Linda Williams; second, Roger Labbe and Lorraine Locke; third, Chanel Leblanc; fourth, Sandra Oliver and Dorina Martin; and fifth, Norm Bilodeau and Connie Pleau.

The league play takes place at 9 a.m. Thursdays. Players are encouraged to arrive early for practice play at the Lewiston Armory/Lewiston Senior Center, 65 Central Ave. Doors open at 8 a.m. Call Roger Labbe at 207-212-9253 for more information.

Come be a part of Norway’s history

NORWAY — People who live, work, shop, go to school or relax in Norway are invited to be part of Norway’s state Bicentennial kickoff Sunday, March 15. A community photograph will be taken at the Norway Town office. People are asked to gather at 12:30 p.m. with the photo taken at 1 p.m. Shoot from the Sky will be taking an aerial photograph of all who gather which will be published in the newspaper and eventually be framed and hung in a town building. After the photo, everyone is urged to gather at the town office for refreshments and official Bicentennial opening ceremony.
