The Poland Conservation Commission, with the help of the local Boy Scouts troop, planted 80 tree seedlings in two locations in Poland on May 23. The trees will be transplanted in the future as needed to different sites in the Poland area. Fred Huntress, co-chairman of the commission, discussed the types of trees being planted. Mike Murphy, a member of the commission, assisted at the event.
