LEWISTON — A Lewiston man was injured Wednesday morning when a truck hit him in a crosswalk on Horton Street, Lewiston police Lt. David St. Pierre said.

Paul Nadeau, 65, who was walking his dogs, was struck when William Sampson, 55, of Lewiston turned onto Horton Street from Walnut Street in his 2003 GMC truck, St. Pierre said.

Nadeau complained of pain and suffered minor abrasions but refused medical attention, St. Pierre said.

The dogs were not injured.

St. Pierre said Sampson was issued a summons on a charge of failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
