Churches may open Monday, June 1, following strict guidelines. St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Auburn has decided not to open its doors for services for at least another six weeks to prevent the spread of the virus. To check in on some of their elderly, a group of parishioners formed a parade and went to visit. Church members put flags, pinwheels and “Miss You” signs on their lawns. The older members of the church waved from windows while others stepped out onto their porches. In the photo are Melanie Lee, holding a sign, Woody and Susan Trask and Joyce Theriault. Other drive-by visits will take place in the near future.
