NORWAY — As a result of an unprecedented, financially challenging year for nonprofits due to COVID-19, Norway Savings Bank made more than 30 donations to deserving organizations, totaling over $100,000 for year-end gifts.

The organizations provide a wide range of services – from nutrition support, housing, education, LGBTQ+, health care to arts and culture and more.

Donations made to Androscoggin and Oxford county nonprofits:

• Celebration Barn, South Paris, $1,000

• Center for Wisdom’s Women, Lewiston, $1,000

• Community Concepts, Lewiston, $10,000

• A Long Journey Rescue, Stow, $500

• New Beginnings, Lewiston, $2,500

• The Progress Center, Oxford, $2,500

• The Public Theatre, Lewiston, $1,000

• Trinity Jubilee Center, Lewiston, $2,000

• University of Maine 4-H Camp and Learning Center, Northstar Program, Bryant Pond, $2,500
