The National Weather Service is forecasting a high temperature of 35 and amix of snow and rain for Friday.
The snow showers are likely before 3 p.m. Then rain and snow showers are likely to mix until 5 p.m. The evening forecast has just rain showers after 5pm.
The interior sections of Maine shouldn’t get more than an inch of snow. But the mountains can expect more snow without the rain. Mostly rain is forecast for the coast.
A weak system will cross the area Friday bringing mostly snow to the mountains, a mix of rain and snow across the interior, and mostly rain to the coast. The mountains and foothills will have the best chance for a few inches of snow with little to no accumulation near the coast. pic.twitter.com/9KwZp7almi
