The Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland Tri-Town Optimist Club has named Alexianna Morse of Elm Street School its February RSU 16 Student of the Month. The sixth-grader’s teachers selected her for her consistent optimism and dedication to learning. They said she is an eager student who demonstrates patience and perseverance and who is concerned about the success of others, adding that she radiates a positive and encouraging attitude that is evident in all aspects of her life, including the love and care she has for her family.
