BARTLETT, Tenn. – Diane Breton Sacco died on March 4, 2021 at St Francis Hospital in Bartlett, Tenn.
She was born August 30, 1933 in Lewiston, Maine. After graduating Edward Little High School, she attended business school in Boston, Mass. In June 1955, she married Jim Sacco. When he entered the U.S. Navy, they traveled to Norfolk, Va., and the Washington DC area. After leaving the Navy, they returned to Lewiston, but in 1965 headed west to California.
She raised her sons, and worked in the banking and credit union industry as a bookkeeper. She retired from Flying Tigers Federal Credit Union in 1992. When Jim died in 1995, she moved to Bartlett, Tenn. to be with her granddaughters. She loved volunteering at St. Francis Hospital, movies, and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by two sons, Edward J. and Richard D. Sacco (Beth); a brother, Raymond Cloutier (Barbara); and granddaughters, Katherine Diane and Samantha Rae. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Sacco; her parents, Eli Joseph Breton and Mary Margaret Breton ( Gilbert); and a brother, Robert L. Breton (Lorraine).
She will be interred in Lewiston with her husband, Jim, sometime this fall.
