An American flag created from colored pavers was completed Friday at the Veterans Memorial Green on Main Street in Mexico. Roger White, owner of White’s Yardworks in Rumford, offered to construct the 48- by 25-foot flag because Mexico is his hometown. The flag features 25 stars signifying the number of years the Rumford resident has been in business. The site previously featured a Town of Mexico sign that was worn out.
