LEWISTON – Rolande Dumont, 93, passed away on May 17, 2021 at her home, with her family following a long illness.

Rolande Dumont was born St. Anne Province, NB, Canada on April 28, 1928. She came to the US in 1960. She married Roger Dumont June 30, 1962, and became an American citizen in April 22, 1966.

She worked at Marcotte Home and as a fancy stitcher in many factories. She enjoyed dancing, knitting, puzzles, and most especially spending time with her family.

Rolande was preceded in death by her mother Yvonne Reust, father Onile Ruest, her second mother Lilliane Ruest; brother Gerard Ruest, sister Viviannne Martin, and sister Dorice Martin.

Rolande is survived by her spouse Roger Dumont; daughter Tina Saucier and her spouse Brian Saucier, son Steven Dumont and his spouse Cindy Dumont; brother Maurice Ruest, sister Donata Beaulieu, sister Leola Masse, sister Marilyn Butler, brother Ronald Ruest, brother Gilles Ruest, sister Micheline Ruest-Mallet, sister Jeanita Caron, and brother Real Ruest; grandchildren Stephanie Fogg, Matthew Fisher, Nicholas Dumont, Lindsay Dumont, Noah Dumont, Ryan Saucier, Amanda Saucier; and many great-grandchildren.
