AUBURN — A large trash fire Monday afternoon at Almighty Waste at 712 Washington Street North temporarily shut down the street from Hackett Road to Philomar Street. 

“It was not a suspicious fire, just a trash fire,” Auburn Police Department Sgt. Nathan Westleigh said.   

As of early evening, the street had been reopened, he said.
