Our Olympians are representing our country. I don’t care how good they are — athletes that insult our flag and national anthem should be banned from representing us.

We spend millions on grants to colleges and the Olympic Committee that train them. Also, various businesses and charities support them. They are supposed to be a shining example to the youth of this country of how hard work and talent can help them reach their dreams.

Gwen Barry should be thrown off the team and refund any taxpayer money used to train her. Patriotism is not a dirty word.
