Fireworks planned for Saturday over the Androscoggin River in Lewiston-Auburn have been rescheduled to Monday.

The City of Auburn on its Facebook page said that change is due to Saturday night’s weather forecast.

“Due to the predicted rainfall this evening, the Liberty Festival Fireworks have been rescheduled to our rain date of Monday, July 5th,” the Facebook post said.

The Lewiston Auburn Liberty Festival posted on its Facebook page that the fireworks show will be Monday at 9:30 p.m.
