PARIS — The Paris Public Library is holding its second used book sale of the year on Saturday, August 28, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, with an entirely “new” selection of items being offered. The sale will be held in the driveway between the Paris Public Library and the Paris Town Office. In case of inclement weather, the sale will be held instead inside the nearby Deering Memorial Community Center. The sale will feature over a dozen tables of used books, all in good to excellent condition, for all ages and interests. Proceeds from the sale will help purchase books for the library’s children’s collection. The library is located at 37 Market Square in South Paris, right on Routes 26 and 117. Due to the generous amount of contributions towards the sale over the past year, the library presently possesses sufficient stock for this sale (and several others, probably to be held in the fall).
For more information, please contact the Paris Public Library by calling the library at 743-6994 or emailing [email protected].
