JAY — Jill Gingras of Jay has been hired as finance director, Town Manager Shiloh LaFreniere said Tuesday.

The Select Board also appointed her as treasurer Monday. She will be paid $53,000 a year.

Finance Director and Treasurer Lisa Bryant of Jay is retiring Friday after 24 years on the job.

Gingras will start full-time Monday and train prior to then, LaFreniere said.

Gingras previously worked for the town as deputy town clerk and finance clerk, LaFreniere said.
