LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen voted Thursday to put a question before voters Nov. 2 to allow and regulate medical marijuana businesses in town.

The question approved by the Select Board is, “Shall the town vote to allow and regulate medical marijuana retail stores, medical marijuana cultivation and medical marijuana product manufacturing facilities by enacting an ordinance titled Ordinance to Allow and Regulate Medical Marijuana Retail Stores, Cultivation Facilities and Product Manufacturing Facilities.

The ordinance will be reviewed at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Town Office. It is expected to be ready in time for a public hearing to be announced later.
