When I heard that Carl Sheline had decided to run for mayor of Lewiston, I thought, “Of course! He’s perfect for the position.”

Carl is an energetic, resourceful man who cares deeply about his community. Over the past decade, he has been on numerous committees promoting the Lewiston/Auburn area.

He doesn’t just “sit” on a board — he learns all he can about the organization, attends its events, and donates time and energy to promoting its activities.

In my opinion, Carl will do exactly that for Lewiston: promote the city at every opportunity, work to attract new business, strengthen our schools, help us all to work together to further develop our community.

I hope residents will join me in voting for Carl Sheline as the next mayor of Lewiston.
