I was so glad to recently learn that Leroy Walker will be on the ballot for Ward 5 in New Auburn.

He is definitely an asset to his constituents both as a catalyst for progressive change and as a knowledgeable resource in meeting their individual needs. As a past councilor in Ward 4 I was privileged to witness his strong sense of community and loyalty to his constituency, as well as not showing bias toward any social group or individual.

Leroy’s example as a leader is commendable, and Ward 5 is lucky to have him and his expertise, as is Auburn. He has given citizens of New Auburn a voice and high sense of community.

I hope Ward 5 residents will turn out in great numbers to vote for him on voting day.
