100 Years Ago: 1921

The sale of bulbs at the Wallace School Friday afternoon under the direction of the principal, Miss Grace Teague, was a great success. Before the afternoon was over the supply of hyacinths, Chinese lilies. mixed tulips and paper-white narcissus was exhausted, and orders were taken for more. The children are greatly interested in flower-growing and the proceeds of the sale will go toward securing bulbs for the school.

50 Years Ago: 1971

Several members of the Perryville Extension Group will demonstrate flower arranging at a meeting to be held tonight at the home of Mrs. Carl O. Heathco on Park Avenue, Auburn.

25 Years Ago: 1996
