NORWAY — Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Main Street, Norway will be holding a Giant Closeout Indoor Yard sale on Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  This will be the final sale of the 2021 season.  Every item will be deeply discounted and the church will provide bags, which may be filled for $5/bag.  There will be bargains galore!  Don’t miss it!

Thanks to a generous Oxford Hills Community, the previous 7 indoor sales have been very successful.  However, as the colder months approach, it is time to close the basement windows, which have provided great ventilation for the previous indoor sales. This final sale, with many new items, will once again be overflowing with unique and gently used Fall and Christmas decorations, holiday gifts, small appliances, linens, dishes, cookware, household items, antiques, books, jewelry, kids’ toys, sporting goods, tools, and furniture.  Everything will be clean, in good working order, and bargain-priced.

For the public’s health and safety, basement windows and doors will be open.  Hepa filter air purifiers and fans will be moving the air.  Items will be spaced so that workers and shoppers can maintain a social distance.  All are required to wear masks.  Hand sanitizer is provided by the church.  Only a limited number of shoppers are permitted to shop at a time.

The money raised by the indoor Yard Sales is used to support the many missions of our community church, which include but are not limited to:  the free drive-thru supper, online and in-person worship service, Bible study, Sunday school, knitting, and book groups.
