Judy Cyr, Don Beaule, center, and Amedeo Lauria attend the 1st Festival of Wreaths and Craft Fair on Friday at American Legion Post 135 in Sabattus. The two-day festival features decorated wreaths that can be won through a drawing and a craft fair. The wreaths are donated by local businesses, Post 135 Auxiliary President Joan Caron said. Raising money for the American Legion has been tough during the pandemic, she said. “So, we had to think outside the box.” The event continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Names of winners will be drawn at 3 p.m., said Cyr, past president of the auxiliary.
