NORWAY — Norway Savings Bank has donated 124 used computers, laptops and monitors, in addition to other obsolete technology, to “give IT. get IT.”, a nonprofit organization that will recycle, refurbish and provide them at low or no cost to those in need.

The organization, give IT. get IT., is dedicated to “digital inclusion.” This concept recognizes that more than 30% of Americans do not have access to a computer, the internet or the skills to compete in the 21st century economy.

Since its inception in 2002 under the name PCs for Maine and eWaste Alternatives, the organization has benefited more than 14,000 Mainers with computers, training and support.
