Jacob Allen Frederick
BLACKSTONE, Mass. – Jacob Allen Frederick, 26, of Blackstone, Mass. passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 1, 2021. Jacob was born in Framingham, Mass. March 17, 1995 to his mother Ami Cantrell Frederick and father Jeff Frederick.
Jacob lived in Massachusetts until he and his family moved to his beloved state of Maine in 2000, where he started his education. Jacob enjoyed his tonka trucks and his pet dogs as a boy and especially enjoyed his time with his ‘Maine Family’ (Cantrells). In addition, he loved being with his Grandfather Allen Frederick in Weld and their many adventures, snowmobiling on his land and trails. He also enjoyed camping with his ‘Nana’ and ‘Papa’ Cantrell and playing multiple games of Dominos on many warm summer nights in Maine. His hobby of snowmobiling continued throughout his adult life, including his appreciation and collection of firearms and his annual purchases of new trucks! Jacob also enjoyed his close relationship with his brother and best friend Alexander Cantrell, experiencing life and many adventures together.
Upon his return to Massachusetts, during middle school, Jacob graduated from Milford High School in Milford, Mass. in 2014. He went onto a successful career in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry, working with his family’s business, J.A. Frederick Plumbing and Heating. Jacob had a tremendous work ethic, truly enjoyed working and was very proud of his recent home purchase. Jacob had many close and special friends he spent time with, enjoying their many nights of camaraderie, while enjoying a beverage at his favorite local ‘watering hole’ the Roast House in Blackstone, Mass.
Jacob was a humorous, sarcastic, witty and fun loving individual who valued family and friendships. Jacob’s Mom Ami, adored and loved her son unconditionally and lived for their daily communication they had about life and family. He especially loved his Mom’s visits and foot rubs. He was loved more than words can express. He had an enormous heart and a listening ear for all. Jacob enjoyed playing chess, with his brother Alexander and stepfather Rich and looked forward to their many matches. He also enjoyed cheating at Monopoly, but did so, strategically and with a fun loving heart. An adoring son to his Mom and best friend to his brother Alex Cantrell.
Jacob is survived by his ‘Maine Family’, mother, Ami Frederick Seamon, stepfather Richard Seamon, his brother Alexander Cantrell, his wife Natasha and their daughter Blair, Ami’s fiance Kevin Cronin. Also survived by his loving grandparents, Jim (Papa) and Sue (Nana) Cantrell; his uncle Jimmy, his wife Melissa, cousin Richard; aunt ‘Sissy’ Melissa Stinchcomb and her husband Scott, cousins Violet and Scotty. In addition, he is survived by his ‘Massachusetts Family’, his father Jeffrey Frederick, stepmother Lori, his stepsister Stephanie, and stepbrother Alex, and nephew Rhett, his uncles John Frederick and children, Jimmy Frederick and children, his grandpa Chuck and grandmother Rosie Fosberg.
Jacob was predeceased by his Grandpa Allen Frederick and his Grandmother Carol Frederick.
Services were held at Consigli and Ruggerio Funeral Home in Milford, Massachusetts. A future ceremony will be held in Weld, Maine this spring.
