Saddleback Mountain, Maine’s third-largest ski resort which reopened in 2020 after a 5-year closure, opened for the 21/22 winter season on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:00 am. It was a picture-perfect bluebird day with skiing and riding on the Royal Tiger slope, and it was great to see so many smiling faces after a season “behind the mask” last year. The ceremonial first chair went to the Rangeley Women’s Soccer Team, followed by many season pass holders and the Saddleback Ski Patrol crew.

Ski School lessons are available to book online through the Roger Page Ski & Ride School and will begin on December 11. The retail store is stocked with new holiday gifts and apparel and Saddleback is excited to roll out a new menu at the Market Café on the second floor of the base lodge.
