DEAR SUN SPOTS: On Thursday, Dec. 9, I was at Hannaford Pharmacy in Lewiston picking up a prescription. It was 3:48 p.m. according to my pharmacy receipt. I made no other stops and when I got home I did not have my wallet.
Of value are my driver’s license, COVID vaccination card, and credit cards. I have contacted the credit card companies.
The wallet is a paisley fabric with a snap closure. If someone has found it, please call me at 782-5766. I would be so grateful.
Sun Spots, thank you for all you do to help your readers. — Anne, no town
ANSWER: Losing a wallet with all your important IDs and other cards is very distressing. I hope someone did find it and will call you right away.
Did you search your vehicle really thoroughly? I lost my cellphone recently and went crazy looking for it, certain it had fallen out of my purse in a store. I finally found it between the seat and passenger side door of my car.
It won’t hurt to call the store another time or two to see if anyone has turned it in yet.
This is a good time to remind everyone to take a photo or make a copy of all the important cards you carry in your wallet then keep it in a safe place. It makes things easier if you do lose it, which I hope is never! But just in case, it’s good to have these records because it’s impossible to remember everything.
