PARIS — Snowy Winter Workshop! This workshop will be held in person on January 23 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Extension Office at 9 Olson Road in South Paris.

Snowflakes, Snowmen, Snow globes, and…where does snow come from?
Join us for a fun afternoon of craft and STEM activities. We will explore some fun weather facts about snow, why some flakes are big and fluffy, others fall as a light powder, how snow forms, and other weather phenomena.
Bring a favorite photo for creating your own snow globe. We will have plenty of art and craft materials to work with and some take-home activities.
This activity is designed for elementary-age youth but will be fun for all ages. A parent or club volunteer is asked to be present at the workshop. The “Snow date” is February 6.
Please register by January 18 at extension.umaine.edu/register/product/snowy-winter-workshop/.
