The Tannahill Weavers have cancelled the concert scheduled for Thursday, March 17, at 49 Franklin in Rumford. One of the members of the band has contracted COVID-19 and the band is cancelling the first 10 days of their US tour. 49 Franklin owners Scot and Cindy Grassette say, “We are sorry for any inconvenience. We hope lead singer Roy Gullane gets through COVID with little issues. We expect to get them on the end of the tour in the fall, but we currently do not have a date. Thank you for understanding and thank you all for your support.” 49 Franklin will be returning money through PayPal and if anyone who bought hardcopy tickets at All That Jazz downtown Rumford should please go to the shop as soon as possible for a refund.
