AREA — The Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine has received a $1,000 donation from Lakeside Norway, the proceeds of the holiday tree auction and wreath sale they held in December.

Throughout November, the Cancer Resource Center sold personalized ornaments which were then hung on the large evergreen tree located on the CB Cummings Landing at Lakeside Norway for a special tree lighting. Over 50 people attended.

“We are grateful to Jason and the other partners of Lakeside Norway for this generous donation which brings the total amount raised from the Ornament & Tree Lighting Event to $2600.  Hanging ornaments gave people a way to honor a loved one, remember those who had passed, or express a bit of holiday cheer.”
