For the next few weeks, South Parish Congregational Church is taking up a collection that will go to an established “boots on the ground” charity helping the people of Ukraine.

The congregation collected $600 on March 20, according to a news release from the church.

Those who would like to contribute can send a check to South Parish Congregational Church, 9 Church St., Augusta, ME 04330. Make the payable to South Parish, with a note on the memo line that it is for Ukrainian relief.
