ALBANY TOWNSHIP — One man is dead while another escaped with minor injuries Thursday afternoon following a rollover crash on Hunts Corner Road.

Police said Zachary Downs, 30, of Bethel was killed in the wreck. Jordan Bennett, 35, of Albany was not seriously hurt.

Police did not say which man was driving as investigators from the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office remained at the scene later Thursday.

Police were called out to the area of 929 Hunts Corner Road at about 1:30 p.m. When they arrived, police found that one occupant had been ejected from the vehicle.

The second man in the vehicle was treated at the scene but did not want to be taken to a hospital, police said.

A section of Hunts Corner Road was reduced to one lane while police reconstructed the crash site.

Albany and Waterford fire and rescue crews assisted at the scene.
