Carol A. Reed-Freve

WINTHROP – Carol A. Reed-Freve, 66, died Thursday, March 31, 2022 at MaineGeneral hospital in Augusta.

Carol was born on July 30, 1955, in Lewiston to Lois Reynolds-Freve, and Gerald Freve Sr. She attended Edward Little High School and went on to raise three children Roland, Kim, and Chuck Reed with her then husband, Charles S. Reed.

Carol devoted her life to helping others. She worked for years at Rush’s foster homes in Monmouth. Her family and friends are all left with her legacy of kindness.

She is survived by her children; three grandchildren; four brothers; and several cousins, nieces and nephews whom all love her fiercely.

There will be a celebration of Carol’s life on Saturday, April 23 from 12 – 4 p.m. at The Carriage House Plus, 1119 Lisbon St. Lewiston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
