FRYEBURG — A bicyclist was taken to a New Hampshire hospital Friday afternoon after being struck by a delivery truck on Route 302.

The woman was struck by a FedEx truck near the intersection with Haley Road about 2 p.m., according to one report. The bicyclist was taken to a hospital in North Conway and a section of Route 302 was shut down as police investigated.

About 4 p.m., a multivehicle crash was reported at the intersection of Routes 302 and 113. Again, a stretch of Route 302 was closed to traffic as emergency crews responded.

Both crashes occurred a short distance from the New Hampshire border.
