Over a dozen people attended an Earth Day talk about PFAS, sometimes called “forever chemicals,” at the Excelsior Grange in Poland on Friday. University of Maine Professor of Sustainable Dairy and Forage Systems Richard Kersbergen shared that the state is working to test every known site where waste sludge has been applied.
