BETHEL — Mahoosuc Community Band will play a concert Monday evening, June 13, at 7 p.m. at the Bethel Common gazebo. Patricia Boyle-Wight will direct the concert. It will include Also Sprach Zarathustra (Theme for 2001 movie) by Richard Strauss, The Genius of Ray Charles arranged by Michael Brown, A Gershwin Portrait arranged by John Higgins, West Side Story by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, A Walk in the Morning Sun by Pierre LaPlante, Birdland by Josef Zawinak, Music of the Beatles arranged by Michael Sweeney, Manhattan Beach March by John Phillips Sousa, and Selections from Chicago by John Kander and arranged by Ted Ricketts.

Please bring a chair, as the concert is outside on The Bethel Common. Donations will be accepted. Gould Academy Bingham Auditorium is the location in case of inclement weather.

Mahoosuc Community Band practices every Monday night from 7 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the basement of West Parish Congregational Church. Each member must be fully vaccinated with COVID vaccine prior to coming to a rehearsal and stay home if feeling ill.
