NORWAY — The 7th Annual Norway Family Fishing Festival will be held this Saturday, June 4 from 8-11 a.m. at Butters Park, located at the corner of Main Street and Water Street in Norway. This family educational day was created to teach children aged 16 and under how to fish or improve their fishing skills. Once you catch your fish, the Norway Paris Fish & Game Association will help you measure and weigh the fish, show you how to clean it, and grill it on-site if you wish!

If you are under age 16 and a resident of Maine you are eligible to enter the raffle for the Stuart B Cummings Lifetime Fishing License Award. This Event is a collaborative effort of the Norway Parks & Recreation Department, Mollyockett Trout Unlimited, Norway~Paris Fish & Game Association, and Healthy Oxford Hills. For more information, contact Norway Parks & Recreation Director Deb Partridge at [email protected] or at 739-7050.
