I hear a lot of news on the price of gas that is way too high, due to the Biden administration. This concerns our senior citizens greatly, being on a fixed income.

Maine is a really cold-weather state, and so are many other states. My heating bill last year was $2,450, and this year it is approximately $5,200 — that is simply insane. Yes, it is warm now, but it will be cold faster than we think and this should be addressed now.

My Central Maine Power bill has gone up from $25 to $30 more monthly, despite the same usage as last year. Thank you, State of Maine, for thinking of big money and not its own citizens.

With the inflation situation we do not have room in our budget because of all the faux pas of this terrible administration. I have looked into various methods of heating, and I feel oil and propane are still the simplest, safest, and most reliable ways to heat, even though at this time they’re too expensive.

We all know why the prices are so high: electric cars and electric everything. How can that be accomplished quickly? It can’t. We are not even close to doing so when our national power grid can’t handle the power needs that we have now.

The poor get poorer fast, and the rich get richer at warp speed.

Same old, same old, same old.
