The Lewiston Public Library is scheduled to be at this year’s L/A Pride Festival on Saturday, June 11.
The event will be held in Simard-Payne Memorial Park, 46 Beech St. in Lewiston.
Library staff will be at the park from noon to 2 p.m. to share information about library resources and summer reading programs, and to host a family-friendly story time at 1 p.m.
People can stop by the LPL table to learn about the library’s summer programs and take a reading break with a selection of LGBTQ+ books.
The festival will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the parade meeting at Festival Park in Auburn and then at 11 a.m. marching to Simard-Payne park.
