Thomas Nolette
NORWAY – Thomas Nolette, 60, died Thursday June, 2, 2022 at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway. He was a resident of Oxford Hills.
Born in Sanford on June 23, 1961, he was a son of Rheal and Jacqueline (Therrien) Nolette. Tom was a graduate of Sanford High School.
Tom was an influential player in developing Maine basketball for 30 plus years. Acting as the Maine director of AAU and as a Club Director, running numerous tournaments and club teams throughout the state.
Tom created and owned MBR.org, at the time the largest social media outlet in the state, promoting Maine basketball. He has left a lasting impression on Maine hoop players and fans alike. He was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior in Rumford.
Tom also loved the animals in his life. He will especially be missed by his cats, Sweet Annie and Mazie Mae.
Tom is survived by his best friend Josie Gowen of Oxford; brothers, Paul and wife Debbie of Acton, Peter and wife Kelly of Sanford, and a sister Ann Marie Bougie of Sanford. He was predeceased by a brother Michael.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church, 126 Maine Ave. in Rumford. Interment will be in St John Cemetery in Rumford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader & Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford, Maine.
