We had some wild guesses that were way off, while our winner, selected in a random drawing from all the correct entries, was John Tarr of New Gloucester, who correctly identified the photo as a section of the giant mural on the side of the Village Inn Restaurant on High Street in Auburn. The mural was painted by Rumford artist Clint Magoon in 2020 and depicts the first restaurant that the Vallee family (owners of the Village Inn) purchased in 1963 that was located across the street from its current location.
