Richard Nelson, general manager at Quality Inn in Auburn, recently received a plaque from Department of Maine Veterans of Foreign Wars for years of service and assistance in helping veterans with rooms for state conventions.
Nelson always has gone the extra mile to assist in helping the conventions go smoothly, according to a news release from Arthur J. Roy, past state commander and convention chairman for 2021-22.
