I’m writing in support of Kristen Cloutier’s re-election campaign. I’ve known Kristen for many years, and her work, whether at Bates, in local government, or in the Legislature has always shown that she is committed to making positive change, even when the work is difficult or slow. Her warmth and integrity make her both approachable and effective as a leader.

As a nurse, it’s important to me that our leaders are invested in the health of our community. Her leadership developing a paid family and medical leave program and her bill for a refundable tax credit for family caregivers shows me she truly supports the same families and parents I take care of. Knowing that Kristen is working in Augusta makes me feel supported in my work.

I’m proud to vote to send Kristen back to Augusta to represent our community.
