Normand Peter Bedard

SABATTUS – With heavy hearts we announce that Normand Peter Bedard has gone to rest with our Heavenly Father on July 22 2022.

Normand was born on April 28, 1968 in Lewiston, Maine, the son of Ronald and Doris Bedard. Norm was raised in Lewiston and graduated Lewiston High School in 1986.

Following his passion, he attended CMVTI and received a degree as a machinist/mechanic. He started his career working at Pioneer Plastics in Auburn as a mechanic. He left there in 2006 and went to work at TNE in Greene where he was their top machinist. In 2012 he went back to his roots at Pioneer where he continued to be admired for his dedicated work and great skills. The job that Normand really enjoyed most was working alongside his father building homes in the family owned business – Bedards Construction.

Norm enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends outdoors. Norm loved watching sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots. Sunday afternoons were often spent playing cards with close family and friends where many memories were made that we will cherish forever.

He is survived by his sister Michelle Arthur, and husband Jeff of Lewiston, nephews Benjamin Belanger, Shane Arthur and stepmother Gloria Bedard of Sabattus, many loving cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his mother Doris Bedard 1994 and father Ronald Bedard 2022, Stepbrother Randy Doustou and Stepsister Penny Doustou.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in 131 High Street, Sabattus. Online condolences may be sent to http://www.funeralalternatives.net.
