FRYEBURG — A man was rushed to the hospital Saturday afternoon after surviving a plunge from a bridge at 75 River Street, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.

The extent of the man’s injuries were not immediately known, but was reported to be conscious and talking when paramedics arrived on the scene, according to an official with the sheriff’s office.

The man was transported to Memorial Hospital in North Conway, New Hampshire.
