Leland M. Laliberte
BUCKEYE, Ariz. – Leland “Lee” Laliberte of Buckeye passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday July 24, 2022 at the age of 72.He was born in San Diego, California, August 5, 1949. The son of the late Albert G. Laliberte and Marie J. (Bouchard) Laliberte.He was in the Navy, submarine service after graduating from Edward Little in 1967 to 1971.He attended the University of Maine in Farmington 1976 to 1978. Then worked for the family business after his father passed away. He also worked for Moore Chemical Company for 5 years and several other jobs in different states throughout the years.Lee loved playing guitar, singing and sharing the gift of music. He was also a member of “The Rockin Recons” before moving to Arizona. He loved fishing, rock climbing, crabbing and taking long drives through the desert, just enjoying nature. He was very mild mannered and loved meeting people. Lee also loved his two dogs “Stewie” and “Bella”.
He is survived by his twin sister Nancy L. Vachon and another sister Deborah Pritting and her family a niece Toi Banville and husband Jim and family. Online condolences can be shared at http://www.thefortingroupauburn.com.
Visitation Fortin Auburn Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 3-6 p.m., followed by funeral service at 6 p.m., at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the care of The Fortin Group Funeral Homes 217 Turner St. Auburn, 783-8545.
