Old Orchard Beach (2-1) at Mountain Valley (3-0)

The Falcons are officially the team to beat in 8-man Small South, but expect the Seagulls to put up a fight.

The Cougars and the Black Raiders both opened with a blowout win, lost big in Week 2, and nabbed a clutch win last week.

It’s doubtful that any team in Maine has had a tougher schedule so far than the Bulldogs. and the Vikings might be their toughest opponent yet.

The Knights won this matchup last year and are coming off a nice win over John Bapst, but the Lions, though winless, are at home this time.

Spruce Mountain (2-1) at Waterville (3-0)

Reece Davis and the Phoenix brought Morse’s great unbeaten start to a screeching halt last week, and now they face the unbeaten Purple Panthers.

MCI (0-3) at Oak Hill (0-3)
Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
There might not be two teams that would savor a win as much as these two squads.
