I have known Jared Golden since when he started at Bates College after he returned home from his service in the Marines.

He was a strong student dedicated to being successful with his studies. He was very mature, always polite and respectful of others.

From the moment I met him, I could tell that he had the qualities of a good leader, and he has proven that in Congress. He is a man of integrity, he is honest and thoughtful, and he represents his constituents well.

I have faith in what he would do for us in Congress.
