I have one wish. It’s not unattainable.
That wish is that all the people running for political office would take even a fraction of the money they spend on their political ads and political signs, and use it to build housing for the homeless.
Do our politicians really believe that the endless political ads and signs they put everywhere really are going to change people’s minds? I do not think so. Most people already know whom they support.
The money (and it’s huge) would be better served by providing clean, safe shelter for the ever-increasing homeless. One might even think a candidate might get more votes that way.
Politicians need to stop trashing their opponents. They need to tell us what they’re going to do, if elected.
