As a longtime community service colleague and friend, in my opinion Ed Plourde is the better candidate to serve as the Androscoggin County District 1 commissioner.

Serving in that capacity since last January, he’s brought his many years of experience as Lewiston City Council chair, Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport board chair, and past president of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club, as well as service on many local boards over the years benefiting the county and its citizens.

In my experience he is a man of integrity with a history of honest and sincere dedication to the betterment of our community. He continually supports local business, demonstrates fiscal responsibility and is dependable both in his community service as well as on a personal level.

I hope people vote for Edouard Plourde for Androscoggin County commissioner; he’s the right person for the job.
