Craft Fairs

NORWAY — Norway Grange #45 Fall Craft Fair on Friday Oct 14. 3-8 p.m. The fair will be held at the Grange, 15 Whitman St. in Norway. There will be various crafters, and 15+ baskets to be raffled off. The baskets are valued between $100 and $500. Chicken stew, homemade chili, and various pies and cakes will also be available.

MINOT — Come to the Holiday Fair at Minot Corner United Methodist Church, Rt. 121 Corner of Minot Ave. & Empire Rd., on Saturday, November 5 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. There will be a table full of homemade baked goods, candy and fudge; crafts, soaps, old fashioned Cabot extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, jams and jellies, pickles and more. A takeout luncheon will be available at 9 a.m. There will also be a silent auction table with great Christmas gift ideas.

Historical

PARIS — On October 20, Joe Galletta will speak on the history of Ripley and Fletcher Ford. The program will be held at the Paris Cape Historical Society building at 77 High Street, Paris. It will begin at 7 p.m. and be followed by refreshments. The audience is free to ask questions, and everyone is welcome to come.  There is parking behind the museum.
